More About Pastor Rick
Pastor Rick has been involved in ministry since 1994. Before assuming the role of Senior Pastor at New Ground Fellowship Ministries, he held the position of Associate Pastor at Community Bible Church in Pasadena/Altadena, California.
Renowned for his effective communication of God's Word, Pastor Rick is recognized for his practical and engaging teaching approach, which enables individuals to incorporate the enduring principles of scripture into their daily lives.

He and his wife, LaChae, have been married since 2004 and are the proud parents of five young adult children: Taelor, DaiManuel, Roman, Ricky, and Riley. Both hail from Pasadena, California.

Deacon
In 1994, at the age of 18, Deacon Pickens was ordained and licensed as a Deacon at Miracle City Apostolic Church. By the age of 24, he ascended to the position of Chairman of the Deacon Board.
Minister
In 2002, Minister Pickens received his license as a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, contributing to various church auxiliaries.
In 2004, he became a Minister at Community Bible Church, subsequently taking on the position of Chairman of the Deacon Board.
Associate Pastor

In 2011, Pastor Rick was ordained and received his license as Associate Pastor at Community Bible Church, serving under Pastor Jean Burch.
In 2015, he established New Ground Fellowship Ministries in Las Vegas, NV, alongside his wife, LaChae.
